Legislator Denenberg Extends the Holiday Season with Toy/Book Drive for Children

Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick) and his son, Aron, are running an “extend the holidays” toy and book drive for hospitalized children and or children in need now that the holiday season is ending. Like other holiday drives, this effort is to collect books and toys that will be donated to these children who are certainly in need of cheer not matter what time of year it is. IN the days after the holiday season, it is important to provide these gifts to the children.

Unwrapped toys, gifts and books may be dropped off at Leg. Denenberg’s district office, 2818 Merrick Road, Bellmore (just east of Bellmore Avenue) on Mondays through Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The drive ends on January 20, 2009.
