Leg. Denenberg Assists Freeport Little League at Opening Day

Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick) helped kick off Freeport’s Atkinson School Little League Opening Day Ceremony last week. The day of celebration was held to commence the League’s new season. Freeport Little League players, player’s families and neighbors gathered to show their support. “It’s always a pleasure”, said Legislator Denenberg, “to participate in programs that teach our young citizens how to compete in athletic events. Little League is a rich history of helping us turn children into responsible adults.”
