Legislator Denenberg Celebrates Reading in Merrick

Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick) joined the students at Birch Elementary School in Merrick as they celebrated their school district’s annual Community Read Aloud. Community leaders are invited to read to children in kindergarten through the sixth grade. Legislator Denenberg talked to the students about the benefits of reading everyday.
