Legislator Denenberg Joins Purim Celebrations in Our Community

Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick) joined the merriment at several Purim celebrations held

throughout his constituency. Purim is a Jewish holiday which is celebrated to commemorate the reversal of fortune

recorded in the Book of Esther. Revelers wear costumes and participate in satirical performances, all recalling the

evil decrees of Haman that were ultimately overturned.
