Legislator Denenberg Presents County Honors to NCFJE Good Deed Teens
Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick) attended the 17th annual “Good Deed Awards for Long Island Teenagers” ceremony held last week in the main courtroom of Nassau County Supreme Court. The awards were established by the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE) on Long Island, to reward Long Island teens for their fine example of good deeds, kindness and their pioneering activity in the transmission of value and identity.
Legislator Denenberg presented each teenager with a County citation and commended them on earning the prestigious Good Deed Award. Each young adult was recognized for their significant achievement, excellence, effectiveness and creativity as positive role models and their inspiring example to their peers and the community at large. The award also carries with it a monetary prize.
