THE NASSAU COUNTY LEGISLATURE IS COMMITTED TO MAKING ITS PUBLIC MEETING ACCESSIBLE TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES. PASSES WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS BEGINNING AT 7:00 PM AND ATTENDEES WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO SIGN IN TO ADDRESS THE LEGISLATURE FOR A MAXIMUM OF THREE MINUTES.

AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT CERTIFIED COPY OF CERTIFICATE OF THE COUNTY ASSESSOR AS TO AMOUNTS OF TOTAL ASSESSED VALUATIONS IN THE SEVERAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS WITHIN THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2011/2012 AS TO EXTENSION OF TAXES: LEVYING TAXES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUCH CERTIFICATE AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION, ISSUANCE AND DELIVERY OF A WARRANT ON BEHALF OF THE COUNTY OF NASSAU AND THE NASSAU COUNTY LEGISLATURE AND UNDER THE SEAL OF THE SAID COUNTY, COMMANDING THE RECEIVER OF TAXES OF THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD TO COLLECT SCHOOL TAXES FOR THE YEAR 2011/2012 AND PAY MONEYS SO COLLECTED TO THE FISCAL OFFICERS OF EACH SCHOOL DISTRICT AND/OR THE TREASURER OF NASSAU COUNTY; PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT LAW OF NASSAU COUNTY AND THE NASSAU COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE. 453-11(AS)
