A Proud Dad Hosts Son's Scout Pack for County Government Tour

On Monday May 23rd County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) welcomed Webelos Cub Scout Pack

230 to the County Legislative chambers to experience a first-hand look at government in action. Legislator Scannell

gave the scouts a tour of the Mineola facility with his own commentary on how ideas become laws. He presented the Pack

members with a Certificate of Appreciation as well as a grab bag gift for their appreciated community service. This was a

particularly proud day for the Baldwin lawmaker since his son Brian, a Pack member, was on hand for his dad's tour.
