Legislator Scannell Congratulates Sandberg and Wong for D.E.E.P. Commitment

On Tuesday, June 1, Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) attended the Baldwin Senior High School annual awards assembly. Legislator Scannell presented Nassau County honors to seniors Gretchen Sandberg and Shellee Wong for their exhibiting the values set forth by his D.E.E.P. honorarium. The award is given to students who have shown Dedication to community service, Enthusiasm in education, Excellence in character and Participation in extracurricular activities during their years of study at their school.
