Scannell Applauds Scott Scheers, DEEP Award Recipient

Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) is pictured with Scott Scheers, during the Baldwin Middle School awards ceremony last week. Scott is this year’s recipient of Legislator Scannell’s DEEP Award. Legislator Scannell said, “Each year, I offer this award to students who have shown Dedication to community service, Enthusiasm in education, Excellence in character and Participation in extracurricular activities during their years of study at their school. As many as twelve schools in the district participate each year! I congratulate Scott for a DEEP commitment to his studies.”
