Legislator Scannell Thanks Baldwin Hadassah At "50 Plus" Anniversary

Nassau County Legislator was invited to join in the celebration of Baldwin Daliya Chapter of Hadassah’s “50 Plus” anniversary celebration held at the South Baldwin Jewish Center. Presenting a county citation to Ellen Pickus, the president, he thanked the members of the organization for doing so much to assist the community.

“The Baldwin Daliya members have participated in many community relief efforts including collecting items for the residents in local battered women’s shelters and raising funds to help send children from underprivileged families to summer camp,” Legislator Scannell said. “It is important to reach out to people who need help and I am happy to have had the opportunity to personally thank the Hadassah members in Baldwin.”
