Legislator Wink Brings Free Digital Mammograms to Port Washington

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) is providing free, digital mammograms for uninsured women of Nassau County on Thursday, August 25, 2010 at the Port Washington Senior Center, 80 Manorhaven Boulevard, from 8:45 a.m. until noon.

You must be at least 40 years of age to qualify. On the day of your screening, please bring a photo ID and proof of Nassau County residency as well as copies of any prior films for comparison purposes.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling Legislator Wink’s office at 571-6211. Please remember that early detection is your best defense.
