Legislator Wink Attends Preview of Stannards Brook Park Project

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) participated in a preview of the Stannards Brook Park rehabilitation project held by the Port Washington Parks Conservancy. Representatives from the Nassau County Department of Public Works also attended. The Port Washington Parks Conservancy had arranged for the final plans of this important community project to be available.

The three-acre neighborhood park has a natural water course, diverse and interesting topography, native vegetation and wildlife making it a unique and valuable resource for the Port Washington community. During the preview, landscape architect Geoffrey Roesch gave a power-point presentation of the project.
