Legislator Wink Holds Child Car Seat Safety Check

On Tuesday June 7, 2011 Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) had arranged for Nassau County Traffic Safety Board educator, Mr. Chris Mistron to hold a child car seat safety check at the Albertson Fire Department. The safety check was held to assure parents and caregivers that their children’s car seats are properly installed. Legislator Wink is planning another car seat safety check for this coming fall. He is pictured with a child whose safety seat was inspected during the safety check.
