Legislator Wink Receives Community Service Award From the Science Museum of Long Island

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) accepted the Community Service Award from the Science Museum of Long Island. Legislator Wink has long been committed to the not-for-profit science activity center and has provided support on many occasions. The museum provides a variety of science workshops and field trips for children of all ages.

“It is an honor for me to be acknowledged by the Science Museum because I hold the utmost respect for everything that they do for the children throughout Nassau County,” Legislator Wink said. “Children enjoy participating in the different workshops offered at the science activity center. The staff and volunteers at the Science Museum help make learning about science enjoyable and enriching. We are fortunate to have the Science Museum located in our community.”
