Legislator Wink Scores a Ceremonial Goal to Kick Off Roslyn Lacrosse Club Clinic

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn), a Lacrosse enthusiast, encouraged members of the Roslyn Lacrosse Club to play their best this season when he attended their clinic. Showing his support and love of the game, Legislator Wink, Lacrosse stick in hand, scored a ceremonial goal to kick off the clinic.

“Playing a sport like Lacrosse can be very beneficial for children, not only because they can challenge themselves physically, but also as a means to learn good sportsmanship and social skills,” Legislator Wink said. “I enjoyed stopping by to wish the Roslyn club well and hope they have a great season.”
