Legislator Wink Keynote Speaker at LI Alzheimer Foundation Service Awards Luncheon

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) was the keynote speaker at the Long Island Alzheimer Foundation’s “A Heart of Gold” service awards luncheon held at The Garden City Hotel where he congratulated honorees. The 40 honorees were professionals, caregivers and volunteers who were commended for their generosity, kindness and compassion. Virginia Belling, RN, MS, director of Virginia Belling, Senior Placement Services, Inc., was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The organization helps senior citizens and their families plan for and arrange long term care. The service also specializes in assisting families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

“I have supported the Long Island Alzheimer Foundation for years because I admire their commitment to bringing crucial programs and services to those suffering from Alzheimer’s and to their families,” Legislator Wink said. “Those who were honored today deserve much praise for their dedication and exceptional service to the Alzheimer Foundation.”
