Legislator Mejias Hosts Free Car Seat Safety Check

Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias (D-Farmingdale) hosted a free car seat safety check at the Sunrise Mall. Nassau County Traffic Safety Board’s educator Chris Mistron and Mayra Portillo conducted the check sharing their expertise during the 15-minute inspections. Residents were given information regarding the proper procedures to follow when installing car and booster seats.
