Consumer Affairs & DEC Perform Joint Operation

In a joint operation with the Department of Environmental Conservation, the Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs targeted unlicensed landscapers resulting in multiple violations and thousands of dollars in fines.
“There will be zero tolerance for Landscapers who attempt to skirt our laws by illegaly applying herbicides and pesticides, placing our community at risk. We will continue our joint effort with the DEC in an effort to safeguard all residents and their pets.” Commissioner Roger C. Bogsted said.
