CERT training is free for Nassau County residents who are 18 years of age or older. If you are considering joining CERT, please be aware that you must attend all training sessions; missed classes can be made up. A background check will be conducted prior to acceptance into the program.
For all those Taking the Basic Class
Please fill out the CERT Application Questionnaire prior to the start of the first class. The file should be downloaded, filled out and saved under a new file name. Please email the completed application questionnaire to oemcert@nassaucountyny.gov prior to the start of the class.
