Eisenhower Park Mini-Golf Begins Extended Summer Hours Week of June 30

The mini-golf course at Eisenhower Park has been called "Best of Long Island" by News 12.

The miniature-golf course at Eisenhower Park will begin its longer summer schedule the week of June 30, announced Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi.

The facility, one of Nassau County’s most popular mini-golf courses and named "Best of Long Island" by News 12 Long Island, features two 18-hole courses ("Mountainside" and "Overlook") with terraced landscaping that incorporates a waterfall, small ponds, flower beds and a number of challenging holes.

The course is wheelchair and baby-stroller accessible and includes two gazebos with picnic tables that are available for children's parties.

During the summer, the course opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday, with the last round of golf sold at 9 p.m.; on Sunday, the course opens at 10:30 a.m., with the last round sold at 7 p.m. The course is open seven days a week prior to the summer and remains open through November, but operates for fewer hours outside of summer. Fees are $7 for adults and $4 for children and seniors for one 18-hole round.

The jewel of Nassau County’s park system and centrally located in East Meadow off Merrick Avenue, Eisenhower provides 930 acres of activities. After playing mini-golf, visitors can choose to practice their hitting at the adjacent outdoor batting cage, take a swim at the world-class Nassau County Aquatic Center, head over to the large playground near Hempstead Turnpike, take a stab at the new 2-mile fitness trail, and enjoy all of the other activities the park has to offer.
