Eisenhower Park Hosts Canon Noontime Concert Series in July and August
Music will fill the air on Wednesday afternoons this summer in beautiful Eisenhower Park when the Canon Noontime Concert Series gets started on July 15, announced Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi.
This year’s diverse six-concert program offers the sounds of the Big Band era, classics and rock, Steel Drum/Caribbean and Country. Through the generous sponsorship of Canon U.S.A., Inc., the concerts are presented to the public free of charge by the Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums.
All concerts are two hours, begin at noon, and are held in the shady area adjacent to parking fields No. 6 and 6A. Concertgoers are advised to bring their own chairs (please note that programs are subject to change).
