Since our parks are open to the general public, we must impose certain restrictions on wedding ceremonies:

  • Either the bride or the groom must be a Nassau County resident with a valid Leisure Pass, otherwise the non-resident permit fee of $100 will apply.
  • No more than 100 people are permitted.
  • No tents or canopies may be erected.
  • A maximum of 20 chairs will be allowed, to aid elderly and disabled guests.
  • The ceremony cannot be held before 10 a.m. or after dusk.
  • No amplification of sound, in any form, is permitted.
  • No catering is allowed.
  • There can be no reservation of any particular area.


Resident Permit Fee:  $50.00
Non-Resident Permit Fee:  $100.00
