Dental Clinic

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Rockville Center operates a Dental Clinic that provides services, on a sliding scale basis, to all residents.  The Clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurances.

Nassau Health Care Corporation - Community Health Centers

Health services are provided in community clinics. A professional medical team, including a doctor and nurse, makes an initial assessment of the person’s health condition and develops a plan of treatment. If necessary, referrals are made to other agencies for needed services. Clinics offer a range of services including general annual examinations, hypertension screenings, and treatment for diabetes, arthritis, etc. Comprehensive dental treatment is also available at the Elmont and New Cassel Health Centers. In addition to accepting Medicare, Medicaid and third party payers, clinics accept fees on a sliding scale basis. Individuals must call in advance for an appointment.

Parker Geriatric Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation

Serves all Nassau County residents.  

The Center provides full diagnostic and geriatric assessment services and follow-up treatment. In addition to medical evaluations, clinical services include nursing, social work, physical, occupational and speech therapies, electrocardiograms, radiology, laboratory testing, audiometric testing, podiatry, dentistry, ophthalmology, and gynecology. All services are provided at the Center. Special clinics deal with problems such as falls, ncontinence, and dementia, that seriously affect the well-being of many older people.

Veterans Clinic Service

The Veterans Administration operates a Clinic which is open weekdays and provides limited health care to veterans.
