New Look

Dear Neighbor,

As you may have noticed during the past year, the Nassau County website has been completely redesigned. Our new portal has a design based on your intentions, which allows for quicker and easier access to information and services. In our efforts to make our site more accessible to everyone, we are moving to make our site more BOBBY compliant. Users can now adjust the font size using the browsers text size functions (usually found under 'view' at the top of the browser).

We are also developing new ways for you to electronically interact with County government. This new initiative, called eGovernment, has been defined as electronically bringing City Hall to the resident. This is accomplished by building and creating easier access to government services over the Internet.

Parks

Reserve golf tee times via the County Golf Reservations website or the automated telephone Golf Reservations System.

There are new point of sales terminals located in most parks where you can apply and pay for a Nassau County Leisure Pass (which now takes less than 4 minutes).

eProcurement Register as a County vendor and receive electronic mail notification of bids and Requests for Proposals. Ability to lookup and download County bids. Completed - online
Assessment Review Commission Appeal property tax assessments and access the property tax assessment tax wizard. Completed - online
Health & Human Services County residents have access to a benefits wizard to determine eligibility for services. In addition, users will have the capability to schedule an appointment online to meet with a Health & Human Services caseworker. Completed - online
Consumer Affairs Look up licensed contractors. File a complaint about a contractor. Renew home contractor licenses. Pay fines to Consumer Affairs. Completed - online
