Restaurant Sanitary Inspection Reports

Inspection Reports for a specific restaurant are available at the New York State Department of Health website at or by filing a written Freedom of Information request.  Contact the Office of Food Protection at 516-227-9717 weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. for filing instructions. The Nassau County Public Health Ordinance (Article III A, section 7) requires every food service establishment to retain on the premises and make available to any person upon request the most recent inspection report issued by the Health Department. A notice of this availability must be prominently displayed to the public.
