[ARCHIVED] MANGANO ANNOUNCES VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL AT COUNTY ICE SKATING RINKS


Free Skate Rentals, Roses, Hot Chocolate, Cookies & Music Sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union

East Meadow, NY – In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announces “Valentine Skate” Celebrations will take place at Cantiague Park, Christopher Morley Park and Grant Park ice rinks on Sunday, February 12th from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

The first 150 ladies wearing red will receive a free rose as we honor American Heart Month (with paid admission only).  Free hot chocolate and cookies will be available for attendees.  Additionally, a DJ will be mixing tunes and games and prizes will be offered for children.  The celebrations are sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

Ice rink admission will include free skate rental (first come first served).  Admission prices are $8 for Adults, $6 for Children 4-17, and free for Children 3 years of age and under.

Cantiague Park is located on West John Street, east of Cantiague Rock Road in Hicksville.  Grant Park is located at Broadway and Sheridan Avenue in Hewlett.  Christopher Morley Park is located in at 500 Searingtown Road in Roslyn-North Hills.
