National Library Week is celebrated the first full week of April every year and is meant to thank the many great librarians and library workers who enhance our lives through the services they provide. On April 6th, Presiding Officer Richard Nicolello joined with North Hempstead Supervisor Jen DeSena, North Hempstead Councilman Dennis Walsh and Mineola Mayor Paul Pereira to honor the Children’s Librarians at the Mineola Library.
“Our library workers dedicate themselves to helping the community and disseminating knowledge,” Presiding Officer Nicolello said. “Thank you for all your outstanding work.”
