A virtual training seminar through ZOOM
You can save the life of a loved one from overdose!
Nassau County has been addressing the opioid crisis on multiple fronts, one of them is educating its residents on the use of Naloxone, also known as NARCAN. Legislator Laura Schaefer announces a Virtual Overdose Prevention Seminar via ZOOM to help residents learn what to do in case of an overdose and to teach them how to administer the lifesaving, overdose-reversal agent NARCAN. All attendees who complete the Virtual Training are eligible to pick up a free NARCAN Overdose Prevention kit.
