(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) visited J.W. Dodd Middle School’s Career Day on Friday, March 31, where she had the opportunity to share her insights and life experiences as a guest presenter during the event.
During her presentations, Legislator Mulé discussed her duties and responsibilities as an elected official; explained how her life led her onto its current path, and the obstacles and challenges she overcame to reach her goals.
“Considering that my journey in public service began with the Freeport PTA and the Freeport School Board, it is always incredibly special to have an opportunity to speak with the young people who will lead our community toward a better future,” Legislator Mulé said. “Thank you to all the students for their insightful questions and everyone at J.W. Dodd Middle School for making this such a successful event!”
