Valley Stream, NY—On April 10th, Legislator Bill Gaylor presented a check to the Village of Valley Stream for the amount of $10,500 for the purchase of two Quickee 20" High Flow Jet PPV ventilation fans for the Valley Stream Fire Department. These fans were paid for by Community Revitalization Project (CRP) funds.
These fans will assist the firefighters by providing positive pressure ventilation at fire and rescue scenes and will require less manpower and equipment. They are battery powered and can be placed in any location.
“Our firefighters put their lives on the line every time they answer a call,” Legislator Bill Gaylor said. “I am happy to provide any equipment that can help them make their jobs easier. Thank you, firefighters, for all you do."
