NARCAN TRAINING COMMUNITY FORUM

East Meadow Public Library - 1886 Front St., East Meadow

You can save the life of a loved one from overdose!

Nassau County has been addressing the opioid crisis on multiple fronts, one of them is educating its residents on the use of Naloxone, also known by the trade name NARCAN. This community forum will help people learn the signs of an opiate overdose and how to administer the lifesaving antidote NARCAN that can reverse the fatal effects of an opioid overdose and save a person’s life.  NARCAN is the antidote to an opioid overdose and all attendees will receive a free NARCAN kit.

This free NARCAN Training Community Forum also offers community resources, speakers and information on the latest treatment approaches.  Despite the many obstacles that persist our primary goal is to help prevent drug related deaths and provide individuals in need with a second chance at recovery, improved health, and a better quality of life.

SEATING IS LIMITED!     reservations are required!

To reserve your seat and free NARCAN Overdose Prevention Kit, please contact
