12/12/14 -SANTA AND HIS REINDEER TO KICK OFF FIRST EVER COUNTY CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano will host the first ever County Christmas Village. The celebration will kick off with a Tree Lighting Ceremony tonight, December 11th at 5:30 p.m. at the Milburn Lake, behind the Coral House in Baldwin.
In addition to ice and wood sculptors, stilt walkers and carolers in traditional Dickens’ costumes, guests will also enjoy a visit from Santa, arts and crafts, shopping, holiday music, a fire pit and s’mores, bounce castles, horse and buggy rides, hot chocolate, cider, delicious food stands, face painting, balloon twisting and gingerbread building.
The United States Marine Corps. will be on hand to collect donations for the Toys for Tots program.
