[ARCHIVED] Valley Stream Robbery


Major Case Bureau detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 8:20 pm in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, a male black subject entered the Valero Gas Station, 192 E. Sunrise Highway, displayed a large knife to the counter clerk and demanded that he open the stores register. After complying, the subject removed an undisclosed amount of cash as well as numerous boxes of Newport cigarettes. He then fled the store and was last seen heading east on Sunrise Highway and then south on Bismark Avenue.
The uninjured clerk, who was the only one in the store at the time, described the subject as being 5’8” to 5’10” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket over a blue hooded sweat shirt, black gloves and scarf around his face.
