[ARCHIVED] Hempstead Attempted Robbery

The Third Squad reports the details of an Attempted Robbery on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 8:15 P.M. in Hempstead.

According to detectives, a Morrell Street resident was leaving her house when she discovered her tenant attempting to enter the house. The male victim, 35, stated two male blacks attempted to rob him near the home, stabbing him twice in the arm and once in the stomach. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries and is listed in stable condition.
