[ARCHIVED] Plainview Bank Robbery

The Major Case Bureau reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, January 04, 2016 at 11:17 a.m. in Plainview.

According to Robbery Squad Detectives, two male black subjects entered the Citibank located at 100 Sunnyside Boulevard each armed with a weapon and announced a robbery. Subject 1 is described as 5’10” tall, 160 lbs., wearing a dark hooded jacket, a black mask or scarf, gloves, carrying a silver automatic handgun. He walked behind the counter and handed a red draw string bag to a female teller and told her to fill it. Subject 2, is described as 5’10” to 6’ feet tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, mask, black gloves, carrying a black automatic handgun remained in the center of the customer area. The subjects fled with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency in an unknown direction. There were five employees and three customers in the bank at the time of the incident. No injuries reported.
