[ARCHIVED] Great Neck Robbery

Third Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Great Neck on Wednesday, 01/06/16 at 6:28 P.M.

According to detectives, two male subjects armed with a handgun entered the Verizon store located at 164 Great Neck Rd. and ordered the male employee and female customer to the back of the store, where they were ordered to lay on the floor. The subjects proceeded to fill their bags with tablets/smartphones (undisclosed value) and then fled the store on foot eastbound on Northern Blvd.

No injuries were reported.

Both subjects are described as male blacks. Subject #1 was wearing a tie closed hooded sweatshirt covering his face, blue jeans and white sneakers. Subject #2 was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black mask, jeans and tan boots. No further description is available.
