LI Tech Day to Take Place on October 18th
Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano reminds residents of the latest Technology Island initiative; Long Island Tech Day! Long Island Tech Day, Long Island’s Biggest Tech Expo, will take place on Tuesday, October 18th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Mitchel Field Athletic Complex, located at One Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Uniondale. Long Island Tech Day provides local technology companies and startups the opportunity to show off their talent and pool of tech enthusiasts to consumers, high caliber investors and the media.
County Executive Mangano stated, “Through Technology Island initiatives such as Long Island Tech Day we continue to support and strengthen Nassau’s growing tech industry while helping residents find meaningful employment opportunities!”
Andrew S. Hazen, Founder of Long Island Tech Day and CEO of LaunchPad, added “Long Island Tech Day is an event that benefits Long Island-based tech companies of all sizes and gives them the opportunity to directly interact with the Long Island community with a focus on their individual needs – they can demo new products and services, recruit for open positions, interact with high caliber investors or just say hello to the tech community. The result transforms Long Island Tech Day into the biggest Tech Expo for Long Island-based tech companies.”

County Executive Mangano has hosted several Technology Island initiatives over the last year including Pitch Island at Adelphi University and the Technology Island Job Fair in which more than 70 companies offered 250 job opportunities.
