Kwanzaa celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year and has emerged as a secular festival observed by many African Americans from December 26th to January 1st as a celebration of African cultural heritage and traditional values. Kwanzaa has had a significant impact on the American experience, and Thursday, December 29th, residents are invited to experience this festive, educational, and inspirational program that beautifully illustrates the principles of UNITY.
