Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano met with students from Jen Bambino’s Carle Place High School Government class on Wednesday, December 14th, after the students took a tour of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola. The students also sat in on a Legislative Session to hear a bill to upgrade their high school’s weight room, and watch the Legislature vote.
“It was an honor to meet these talented and hardworking students from Carle Place High School,” said County Executive Mangano. “I’m pleased they were able to sit in on a legislative session, as they learned first-hand about the voting process in Nassau and just how government works.”
