Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano met with Cub Scout Pack 123 from North Merrick on Wednesday, December 28 at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola. The Scouts took a tour of the building and learned about how their local government works, in order to fulfill a civic duty requirement.
“It was an honor to meet these talented and hardworking cub scouts from North Merrick,” said County Executive Mangano. “I truly appreciate when our youth take an active role in community organizations, and I’m pleased they were able to learn first-hand about how their local government works.”
