Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano was joined by Acting Probation Director John Plackis and Assistant Deputy Director Andrew Eichhorn to swear in 9 new Probation Officers at a ceremony on Friday, March 3 at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola. Each trainee was presented with an officer’s shield and a citation for their hard work and commitment.
“Each of you being sworn in today will take the next step in your careers as Probation Officers,” said County Executive Mangano. “I commend each of the graduates for earning the opportunity to be part of the Nassau County Probation Department, and for their willingness to dedicate their careers to keeping our residents and communities safe with offender rehabilitation and supervision.”
