Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announces that WineUDesign, Inc. founder and winemaker Vincenzo Saulle will speak about building a successful business at the April 24th meeting of the Nassau County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club. The meeting takes place from 7-9 p.m. in the Ceremonial Chambers of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building located at 1550 Franklin Avenue in Mineola. Admission is free.
“My administration is proud to foster a stronger economic climate for inventors and entrepreneurs to succeed in turning their ideas into viable business solutions,” said County Executive Mangano. “I welcome all residents interested in joining the Nassau County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club to attend this April 24th discussion.”
Vincenzo Saulle and partner Gianni Fabrizi started WineUDesign Inc. – a home winemaking facility – in Hicksville in 2010. The pair, who grew up making wine with their fathers and grandfathers, started the company to revitalize a tradition of winemaking that was dying with the older generations. WineUDesign produces wines with grapes from Chile and California. Customers who make wine attend four classes over 11 months, beginning with the crushing of the grapes and ending with bottling of the finished wine.
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and inventor Brian Fried organized the Club in 2012. The Club has attracted more than 2,500 attendees to its events.
