Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano swore in 12 members to the newly formed Hispanic American Advisory Board in a ceremony on Monday, April 24th at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola. The members of the Advisory Board will assist the County in the development, advancement and betterment of economic, employment and business opportunities for Hispanic Americans, as well as promoting cultural opportunities, education and the general welfare of Hispanic Americans in Nassau County.
“I thank members of Nassau County’s new Hispanic American Advisory Board for their commitment to our community and their willingness to volunteer in such an important capacity,” said County Executive Mangano. “Together, we will form partnerships that will continue to bridge cultural gaps, accomplish our common goals and lead to the building of a better Nassau.”
