Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano joined Mayor Robert T. Kennedy of Freeport to celebrate the renaming of Northeast Park in Freeport to Bishop Frank O. White Memorial Park, at a parade and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 28th. Bishop Frank Otha White was Pastor at the Zion Cathedral in Freeport. His late wife Juliet, son Bishop Frank Anthone White, and their family were on hand for the special dedication.
“I speak on behalf of every Nassau County resident when I say that we remember Bishop Frank Otha White each and every day for his service, for his love for his family, friends and dedication to his community,” said County Executive Mangano. “This Park symbolizes the life and breath that he brought to Freeport and to Nassau County as a whole.”
