Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced that the 8th Annual “Cruise to the Show” Parade and Car Show will be held on Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th.“Modern Muscle Madness in Eisenhower Park,” an exclusive muscle car show will take place on Saturday, September 23rd from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Eisenhower Park at Field 6 and 6A. Hundreds of modern muscle cars will be on display—from 2005 and up to today’s latest technologically advanced American Muscle Chevrolet, Dodge and Ford vehicles all on display. A live concert will take place throughout the duration of the event, on the County’s mobile stage. Many of Long Island’s race, performance and restoration shops will be in attendance. A number of Nassau County’s local businesses will be on display, offering unbeatable show specials, and traveling vendors from out of state will be on hand to offer great products and wears not often found on the Island.On Sunday, September 24th County Executive Mangano presents Nassau County’s 8th Annual Parade and Car Show. The seven-mile parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Briarcliffe College. Immediately following the parade, the car show will open at Eisenhower Park, Parking Field 6 and 6A from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. featuring more than 1,000 automobiles from yesterday’s greats to today’s modern marvels. The Nassau County Cruise to the show plays host to everything from classic model T’s to Detroit’s muscle cars, lifted off road 4x4 trucks and slammed mini trucks. Live music, food and entertainment will be provided for the entire family.
