County Executive Curran Observes National Correction Officers Week

Curran Observes National Correction Officers Week

East Meadow, NY –Nassau County Executive Laura Curran (center) joined the Nassau County Sheriff’s Correction Officers Benevolent Association (COBA) Widow’s and Children’s Fund in observance of National Correction Officers Week. National Correction Officers Week is the first week in May.

“Nassau County honors its fallen Correction Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty,” said County Executive Laura Curran.

The ceremony was held at the Nassau County Sheriff’s Department Memorial Monument in East Meadow and was attended by the families of the fallen, County Executive Curran, Sheriff Vera Fludd, and fellow Officers of the Sheriff’s Department.
