Curran Partners with L.I. Cares for Pet Food Program

Baxter's Pet Pantry

Freeport, NY – Nassau County Executive Laura Curran partnered with Long Island Cares to support its free pet food program for pet-owning families in need in Nassau and Suffolk counties, Baxter’s Pet Pantry.

Baxter’s Pet Pantry was developed in partnership with the Animal Relief Fund Inc. (ARC) in response to 2009 media coverage of families putting their pets up for adoption as a result of not being able to afford pet food, veterinary care and/or other services.
