Legislator Arnold W. Drucker Hosts Tax Grievance Workshop, Supports Long Island Cares’ Annual Legislative Pet Food Drive
(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) hosted his first tax grievance workshop of 2019 at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library on Thursday, Jan. 10 and at the same time supported a regional food bank’s pet food drive in the process.
Not only did scores of residents learn how to grieve their taxes during a presentation by the Assessment Review Commission, attendees donated more than 100 pounds of pet food and supplies for Baxter’s Pet Pantry as part of Long Island Cares’ eighth annual Legislative Pet Food Drive.
