Drucker Attends Brunch to Unite Against Hate

(BETHPAGE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined congregants at Masjid Al-Baqi, a local mosque in Bethpage, for an interfaith brunch on Sunday, April 7th.

Legislator Drucker and a diverse cross-section of the community’s ethnic groups, religious communities and nationalities joined together for an interfaith dialogue aimed at strengthening bonds and promoting peace. Legislator Drucker stressed the need for peaceful coexistence and mutual respect in the maintenance of a prosperous civil society.

“Constant communication plays an essential role in promoting the peace, happiness and prosperity that allows Nassau County to thrive,” said Legislator Drucker. “I am honored that Masjid Al-Baqi Mosque afforded me the opportunity to participate in this important forum.”
