WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Kevan M. Abrahams (D – Freeport) and Glory House Recovery proudly present the 10th annual Holiday of Giving celebration, hosted by Uniondale High School, on Saturday, Dec. 14. While supplies last, the event will feature gifts for children, photos with Santa, raffles and prizes, face painting, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, refreshments, vendors with free giveaways, free sneakers from Heeling Soles, and much more.
Legislator Abrahams and Glory House Recovery are grateful to the Uniondale School District, Superintendent Dr. William Lloyd, Uniondale High School Principal Dr. Edward Thomas and staff; and Turtle Hook Middle School Principal Dr. Donald Humphrey and staff for assisting in the growth of the Holiday of Giving. This year, the event moves to a larger venue at Uniondale High School.
